Tom Jackson is a science author based in the United Kingdom who has written many books, covering everything from axolotls to Zoroastrianism. Mr. Jackson studied zoology at the University of Bristol, and still lives in that city with his wife and three children, where he can be found mainly in the attic.

This is for an adult or well educated person

I was actually very impressed with the adult knowledge you would need to read this book. It is more like a book of 100 or so facts that share pages but its enough information that you can say "Oh I didn't know that." Or "I'm going to look that up later" the book was undamaged. It arrived quickly and I was impressed that the seller wrapped it in several layers of bubble wrap.

Liked it so much, I bought the entire Series

Building up a motivational library for my daughter. Enjoyed the books so much, I bought the entire series after initial purchase of The Elements. Perfectly illustrated and short enough for those with developing attention spans. Subjective further study may be called for at a later stage, but this is a great way to foster the will to do so.... Love it, sincerely...
