Touched my spirit
By Mary Meier
What a beautiful heartfelt true story, and how Kathryn triumphed over shame and heartbreak knowing God is faithful to get us through all. It reinforces to me all good things come from heaven and I am not to compare , envy, or question what others have to my own circumstances. Be glad in the successes of joy of others.

An inspirational and untold story
By Megan
After I finished reading this book, I found that I wanted to start again from the beginning, scouring for details and highlighting my favorite passages. Kathryn Kuhlman The Radio Chapel Years was a truly interesting and inspiring read.

The story of what took place all those years ago is widely unknown although Kathryn went on to become one of the most well known and influential evangelists world wide. This story provides an insight into a different chapter of her life. The story of what took place in Mason City is so interesting it would even appeal to non-believers as well as Christians.

While reading, I found myself being challenged by the sermons of Kathryn and those of Burroughs Waltrip. I am a Christian but their strong words and convictions made even me wonder what else I could be doing to make sure I make it into heaven and what I can do to further the plans of the Lord. Another thing I noticed while reading the sermons that were written over seventy years ago, was how well almost all of them applied to the same issues we face today.

Rev. Shane Philpott seamlessly weaves Kathryn's sermons, various newspaper articles and interviews with Keith and Mary Williams with his own opinions and experiences. This is truly a must read for Christians and non-Christians alike.

AN INSPIRATION TO THE SOUL
By Dean Brown
As a pastor reading this well written and obviously well researched book, I find myself being drawn into the events in such a way that I literally feel like I'm present watching these events unfold. No only did I enjoy what's being shared, but I found myself doing some purposeful self examination as I was being challenged by the zeal for evangelism that was a driving force in the lives of Ms. Kuhlman and the Radio Chapel leadership. Their passion for the lost was and is contagious. I want what they had. I want my congregation to have what they had. I want the Body of Christ as a whole to have what they had. "Kathryn Kuhlman: The Radio Chapel Years" is more than a story being told, it's an inspiration to the soul.
